At the time we decided to read your book as part of our daily morning study, we were going through a very difficult time in our business. Reading Run with Abandon together strengthened our relationship with the Lord and with each other as husband and wife! God reminded us (through your words) that His desire is for us to run with abandon to Him in trust and surrender. Therein lies hope - (no matter what trials we may be going through) AND freedom!

Run With Abandon has been a tremendous blessing in my life. When life is difficult and things seem out of control, I can always find comfort in the stories and principals that Jill has drawn from the Bible. I absolutely love this book and highly recommend it as a must read.

I am delighted that Jill took the initiative to write this book. The personal anecdotes interspersed throughout always brought the reader back to the main message of spiritually running with abandon.

I found myself in the daily grind of working 12+ hour days, with no time to stop and think about anything other than work. But something made me slow down and take the time to read this book. And WOW, it had such an impact on me. I had no idea how desperate I was, hiding behind the long work hours. Run with Abandon spoke directly to my heart. It is hard to explain the tears that flowed and the calm I felt after I read it. Thank you Jill for bringing me back to the place I need to be.

I am reading the book and find myself smiling, laughing, thinking, examining, relating, yearning.... Jill, you have opened your heart in the book and challenged the reader to do the same. I am looking forward to reading it the second time with a group of ladies from my church. I'm sure the accountability and encouragement of working through this together will be even more powerful!

:-) I so enjoyed this book. Was so touched by the gentleness and care fo which you showed God's love and care. I really was blessed by your Mom's constant words for praise and uplifting even at the end. What joy she must have brought all who knew her. Thank you for sharing this with all of us. I could see your face and hear your voice as I read and knowing how you love God helped me see His work in your life. Blessings to you always. Jimie

I am loving this book! Reading it is refreshing and I always come away from it challenged to improve something... Usually a mindset that I've grown comfortable with and need to get out of. Great writing! When is the next book coming out???

"...make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."  2 Peter 1: 5-8
